Heydar Aliyev Foundation is non-governmental, non-commercial organization.
Structure of Foundation is based on collegial and undivided ruling.
Executive body of Foundation is President. President of Foundation is its legal authorized representative. President fulfills general direction on confirmation and implementation of programs, definition of purposeful priorities of activity of Foundation, its structure and personnel and other issues considered in Charter.
Position of Executive Director was defined for realizing direct leadership of work of Foundation, that acts in frame of authorities defined by President as its duties. Executive Director implements current control on programs and actions of Foundation. It is also authorized representative of Foundation within issues defined as its authorities.
Within Foundation, Expert Council acts, basic goal of which is consisted of ensuring big effectiveness of adopted decisions. Expert Council consists of experts with various specializations. Duties of experts include preparation of different opinions, accounts and reports and submitting them to President. Council is advisory structure.
